Flexible pouches are one of the most challenging packaging formats to automate, particularly when pouches must be vertically oriented and packed with partitions inside the case. Clearpack has developed an advanced, high-speed solution to address this complex requirement.
For one of our esteemed customers in India, Clearpack Group engineered a 240 PPM automated case packing system for home-care pouches received from an HFFS machine.
The process begins with pouches arriving in 3 lanes in lay-flat orientation. A sophisticated lane-management system divides the flow into 4 lanes, followed by precise alignment and synchronization of the pouches. The aligned pouches are then transferred into servo-driven racetrack pockets, which index only after receiving the required number of pouches, ensuring controlled and accurate collation.
Once the required collation matrix is formed, a specially designed gripper picks up the complete group and gently places it into the waiting case. A dual-row case conveyor enables two cases to be handled simultaneously, supporting high throughput while maintaining smooth and controlled product handling.
The complete packaging solution is indigenously designed and manufactured by Clearpack at our Greater Noida, India facility, combining advanced servo technology, intelligent product handling, precision lane management, and flexible automation.
